On October 28,barely an hour after the Siege of Sallie Mae ended, another march took to the streets, this time from Howard University. This was the "March for jobs and social justice, in solidarity with the Occupy Movement."
The march wound through neighborhoods, then downdown, through Occupy DC at McPherson Square, and then went to Stop the Machine on Freedom Plaza to pick up still more supporters. Finally the composite group marched to the US Chamber of Commerce on H st. A speaker from Stop the Machine said that was the 5th time at least the Chamber has been visited by the Occupy movements or it's supporters, and the 4th of the week.
