A robber is on the run in Montgomery County after taking drastic measures during his getaway. The man was caught on surveillance video holding up a Quick Stop on FM 3083 in Granger. The store owner says he's been robbed before. He says that's why he installed a switch behind the counter that locks the door. On video you can see the suspect trying frantically to open the door. In the end, the thief had to use a canister to break through the glass. The suspect had put down the money during his escape and ran away without it.
