617 Squadron (The Dambusters) and their last days operating Vulcans out of Scampton.
Including a flypast of the Mohne dam, the site of their famous mission during Operation Chastise.
Lovely shots of the great plane on a cold war grey morning.
The Vulcan of course was built using the exact same industrial technologies that formed the Lancaster, but with 20 years of advances in aerodynamics, and of course the mighty olympus engines from Mr Rolls and Mr Royce, replacing the equally legendary Merlins from the same company.

@CargeLock Yep, no doubt. It makes an insanely beautiful sound too, some jets thunder, or rumble or screech, but the quad Olympus HOWL.

@DonOgg Actually i did google it, because I wasnt sure. This one looks similar but the towers looked wrong. I should have written 'I think its the Mohne Dam'
Hmm I wonder where it is. Possible its somewhere in UK then. I was hoping someone wold pipe up if they knew, cheers man.
