  • I'm not a fan of NASCAR, but different people have different interests. So before we criticize how stupid it is to watch this type of racing. Realize that we're in front of our keyboards watching people watch this.... inception...

    • @ElParcero NASCAR has oval and road course track races. I've been to both types of courses with NASCAR and Formula1. I'd rather go to a NASCAR race with an oval. As a fan, you can see the entire race. When you sit on a road course, the cars go flying by with limited view of the rest of the course. Boring. Very boring. With ovals, you can see the drafting, bumping, and switching that happens. Additionally, the pits are in front of you. There is always something to watch.

  • Good grief I always expect negative attitudes and ignorance in the comments, but considering all of the terrible carnage these comments are from sad pathetic people who have lost their humanity. I mean just regular people were hurt. My heart goes out to these folks, and hope Nascar takes care of them financially and with a lot of care.

....it's liveleak.....where people say the most outrageous troll shit ever just for some attention or even more so in the hopes that someone replies to them.

you have to keep in mind what the general crowd here is.......20 something single males who live at a parent or guardians home. Most of the people haven't been exposed to the real world for more than 30 minutes at a stretch outside of their xbox.

    • @fern420 I concur, it seems people need the attention of being antagonists. They enjoy trying to piss people off, but to me they just look like pathetic immature punks.

    • @dietcokesucks
Yes I did. Unfortunately apparently your idea of evolution includes the evolution of Americans' waist size. Those were all fat sob's. I don't know what happened in your life where that became the norm. I'm not even trying to troll now or talk smack. Those were all overweight people. You want to talk about the theory of evolution..yet you are defending the biggest plague to evolution in your own country? (Fat overweight society) wtf? Really?

    • @Timmah no they were not all fat slobs you idiot....you prove that people are getting dumber by your comments....and for your fucking information, i've been to canada and you guys aren't exactly the crown jewel of fitness either fucknuts....must suck to suck to get so dominated by a bunch of fat slobs at the olympics

  • it's a stupid sport anywhere, round and round and round in circles, yawnfest

    Posted Feb-24-2013 By

    (4)

    • @scotland08 That's a very unoriginal argument; regurgitated by millions and is the only thing people seem to say about Nascar.

If Nascar is as simple as going "round and round and round in circles," then it is just as dumb as relay races, hurdling, roller sports, track cycling (all of which are in the Olympics), and any other sport that goes in circles (Nascar tracks are ovals, by the way.)

I don't enjoy or watch Nascar, but anyone who says driving a nearly 900 horsepower car i More..

  • So many people watching cars drive around the same oval over and over...I don't get it.

  • NASCAR sucks, Regulated within an inch of their lives, Used to be who could build the best car and fastest engines.

    Posted Feb-24-2013 By

  • They used to allow us to go down to the fence and take pictures. Even a small pebble or sand would break your skin and make you bleed as the cars went by, but the pictures were awesome. Everyone knows the risks - We can't live in protective bubbles if we want to enjoy life.

    • @j_ramone lol some people are calling to ban the sport...we cannot enjoy life with such people around

    • @dietcokesucks
I know. I like hockey, but now I have a fucking net obstructing my view because some people don't realize there's a puck in play and it could kill you if it goes high and you're busy discussing your HOA rules instead of watching the game. We're a bunch of pussy's.

  • Feel so sorry for all of the fans that got injured and glad to hear all of them are go make it through, things like this can happen in all sports pretty much, take for instance baseball, when a player loses his grip on his bat and he send it flying into the stands, or even when a baseball goes flying into the stands as well, The more scarier part of this wreck I bet was for the officials who were standing in the starters pit or whatever they call it, from what I saw, there were 2 up there More..

    • @thayguy If you think about it, this accident would have injured far more people in any other country, considering how much sitting space the average American occupies.
