I am no conspiracy theorist, but seriously, burrying the body only few hours later, at sea. That's not exactly a good move if you want to convince people that it's actually him.
I do think he is dead. I don't think they would dare to fake that, because if he was still alive, he would surely publish a video of himself, shortly after this.

Oh, and the body really isn't important if they've taken DNA and other samples to identify him. Just going by resemblance can be dangerous as there's probably some lookalikes out there, just like with Saddam.
