Huge Atlantic storm - 7 HD photos

Some of you had asked to see more of Ireland

I headed west towards the great atlantic Ocean. They used to think this was the edge of the world.

It certainly feels like it.

We hiked for an hour into a 40mph head wind. By the time we got back even my rain gear was wet inside. Every step you take closer to the water becomes a battle between balance, the elements & equipment conservation.

It was a storm alright, but not as massive as ones I've seen before. 1km visibility

There are rocks here, lying on the ground, they look like they've been placed there in a game, by some ancient race.

our road trip ended with my old 92 merc breathing its last today. We ditched it in favour of a bus after the head blew. She's done 200,000 miles. She lies in the darkness of a church yard some 100 miles away.

I have some videos of the journey ... tomorrow perhaps, maybe later
