struck one of its baffles. Happened at the 1st Annual Silencer Are
Legal Shoot held in Dallas, Texas.

To be honest,it gets pretty routine after a few thousand rounds, especially when you have to carry a MG,ammo,body armor, a pack, food, a pistol, grenades, a E tool,a helmet,etc.
The novelty wears off.
I went from a US Marine Machine Gunner MOS to Scout/Snipers. I didn't miss the M60, at all.

I am not talking about using in in service (I used the MG42/56 and the CETME when I was making my military service). I am talking about waking up a Saturday morning asking yourself what to do, and decide to fire some rounds with your MG in the local range. Way cool.

@mcgus It's actually pretty tough to get a class 3 license to own a fully automatic rifle here and the vast majority of the population does not have that. Most people who get to shoot them, shoot them at events like this where they belong to someone else or a company. I'm a gun nut, shoot every week, have 16 semi-autos, and have yet to get the chance to shoot full auto. But it's coming very soon.
