      Timewave zero is a fractal derived from the i-ching manuscripts and it shows peaks and troughs of 'novelty' over time, often appears to fit major world events.
      Novelty decreases to zero on dec 26th?? around there, so adds more fuel on the fire for the 2012 crowd. It is thought we enter a singularity or infinite novelty or it simply repeats and time marches on like normal.

      I don't follow it but seen a few times it has been used to predict some interesting stuff accurately.
