Local Traffic Reporter Provides Romney Supporters With Quickest Route To Canada

by Meenal Vamburkar
4:48 pm, November 8th, 2012We’ve all heard it: “If [Candidate I Don't Support] wins, I’m moving to Canada.” Lucky for you, disillusioned voters, Jeff Brucculeri
is here to help. On Wednesday, the Fox 23 traffic reporter, based in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, provided viewers with a helpful segment about the best
route to Canada.
“I know a lot people said that if their candidate lost the election,
they’d be moving to Canada,” Brucculeri said. “Not sure why, but that
was some of the folks’ promises out there. So let me give you the
quickest and directest route from Tulsa to Canada.”
And so he did, complete with map. The route is pretty direct, too,
once you get to Omaha, Nebraska “Literally I-29 will go to the Canadian
border,” he informed. “This is serious stuff,” he added, as his
coworkers could be heard laughing off screen.
“Now when you get to Canada…make sure you’ve got either your card or
your passport to get into Canada now,” Brucculeri said. “Then you’re
going to get back on highway 75 in Canada. It’s actually the Lord
Selkirk Highway. If you’re moving to Canada, you’re going to need to
know this. Lord Selkirk Highway, okay?”
Journalism is a public service, folks.
