Israel's hand-launched mini-UAV
UAV's - drones - used to be exclusively the tools of the Air Force. No more. In Operation Cast Lead, Israel used a mini-UAV called the Skylark, which was launched by ground forces by hand and which provided real-time pictures behind nearby enemy lines.
