Ali Abdullah Saleh, the president deposed during the Arab Spring revolution in Yemen, happily buys a $100,000 Jaguar (special model from year 1961). Protesters meanwhile have seen no justice for the thousands Ali Saleh and his thugs killed during the uprising. And Ali Saleh and his son Ahmad remain the subject of detailed accusations of money laundering, corruption, smuggling, bribery, fraud, etc, that embroil not only Yemen but also several Western nations which hold their stolen funds and property, including France, USA, and UK, which are refusing to investigate. During his years in office, although a ruthless corrupt despot, Ali Saleh was nevertheless a US ally, which explains the hypocritical stance taken towards protecting him at any length necessary no matter what his crimes.

The man standing to the left of Ali Saleh at about 0.24 is Abdu Janedi, his blabbering deputy information minister who notoriously spouted blatant lies and propaganda throughout the revolution. He received substantial underhand properties in reward.

The man with sunglasses standing at 0.44 is Ahmad the son of the former president. He is still the head of the Republican Guards which were responsible for many of the deaths during the uprising. The BBC report says that Ahmad Ali has announced he wants to stand for president in 2014. His expected inheritance of the presidency was a major factor setting off the revolution that ousted his father.

The BBC report is highly unflattering and very criticial. They state that they were not allowed to film Ali Saleh, and that someone from the Saleh group filmed him on their behalf as he received his Jag.
