Close Call for QRF - IED Malfunctions
"After loosing one of our up-armors to an IED while in exfil out of Afghanistan, the QRF vehicle was hit during reaction. Kicker charge went off, but not primary. I ended up digging up primary, 40lbs Comp-B in plastic burlap bag, the blasting cap had separated from the wire lead....thank God" -source
