After 43 years of mostly terrible football, the Saints are playing in the Superbowl for the first time ever. It's a special time for the people here, who seem to be in an unending state of euphoria. While New Orleans has never needed a reason to party, the Saints have certainly given us one. The Carnival season really gets going the week after the Superbowl, and it seems this year's Mardi Gras scenes won't be decorated with the traditional purple, green, and gold. This year the only colors that matter here are Black & Gold. Mardi Gras day is Feb. 16. Come visit and celebrate with us.
