At 0:22 the stingray starts to do an about face. At 0:25, the sting ray lashes a quick jab much like the way a scorpion would attack. At 0:30 Irwin pulls the barb from his chest. At 0:34 he clutches the wound with his left hand right before video freezes. It is at this point the cameraman stops the video to help Steve. R.I.P.
