A short video clip from the EDL march in Brighton on 02.06.12. The EDL group are in amongst the group of police officers and quite hard to see. The rest of the crowd are anti-EDL, chanting "EDL, off our streets" and "racist scum, off our streets" etc. One anti-EDL protestor gets a telling off from the police at about 8 minutes.
It is thought that about only 30 EDL turned up, and even they didn't seem to know they weren't wanted.
The police presence was incredible - never seen so many police personel in one place at one time! But it must have been very expensive. It's a shame these idiots feel the need to visit Brighton on a regular basis and disrupt everybody's weekend. Hopefully we won't be seeing them again for some time...

@Fukmup I fear you are probably right, there has been so much ridiculous political correctness going on that the words "racist" and "nationalist" seem to have gotten fused together.
It's pretty sad when it gets to a point that you cant be proud of your country or want to preserve it's heritage without being called a racist.
I suppose the EDL are one of the only active groups that actually bother to speak out on immigration, it's just a shame the majority of them couldn't spel More..
