I couldn't imagine how scary this must have been for those passengers! It occurred on a ski area access road with a 1000 foot drop to the right! in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Most of the weight is on the rear wheels, and the bus has rear wheel drive. Smart thing to do would be to move everyone to the front of the bus to get the weight off the rear wheel in order to improve control over the bus. The best thing to do on the other hand, would be to just stop, have someone to haul some beer and have a party on the bus.

You need them in the middle (right above the rear wheel base and not in the back or else it will lift the front wheels), the wheels that need traction are the rear wheels since the bus is oversteering and not understeering...
