Guy Shoots his Dad

DETROIT (myFOXDetroit.com) - A Detroit man is shot dead, and his son apparently confessed he's the one who pulled the trigger.

Detroit Police say 35-year-old Terrance Allen showed up at Mark's Motown Coney Island on Van Dyke after his father was shot in the head twice inside the family's home.

We're told he asked to use the phone and then accepted a cup of coffee from a local church deacon.

"He came over and we talked for a little while and I prayed for him and then he started crying, you know, and he said, 'I called the police to come pick me up,'" said Joseph Anderson.

We're told an argument may have led to the deadly shooting.

Allen was recently released from jail and out on parole for home invasion charges.
