Fleetwood Mac, Live with the USC Trojan Marching Band 1997

From the 1997 reunion concert with band's most successful line-up (Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie and Stevie Nicks), who had not released an album together since 1987's Tango in the Night. The album, THE DANCE, was certified a 5 million seller by the RIAA. A successful arena tour followed the MTV premiere of The Dance, which kept the reunited Mac on the road throughout much of 1997, the 20th anniversary of their Rumours album.

The concert was recorded for Fleetwood Mac's MTV Special "The Dance" at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, California on May 23, 1997, and features the University of Southern California Marching Band who perform on the tracks "Tusk" (having played on the original studio recording) and "Don't Stop".

September 17, 1997: Fleetwood Mac’s 37-city reunion tour—which follows the release of their #1 album ‘The Dance’, a live-in-the-studio retrospective— commences in Hartford, Connecticut.

January 12, 1998: Fleetwood Mac is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at the thirteenth annual induction dinner. Sheryl Crow is their presenter.

April 16, 1998: ‘Rumours’, by Fleetwood Mac, is certified by the RIAA for sales of 18 million copies.
