Was surprised to see that at the end they don't wear helmets because I think there is no "bumpier" flying than what they do: very low altitude over heat and flames. You can see that it's like riding a wild horse; not a moment to pass out when you hit your head.

@xerodfx Gotta just say the US Forestry Service use a totally gorgeous (and one of my favorite all time planes in firefighting config/colours) ex-navy P3 Orion for firefighting.
Pretty old though, but still capable so I hear. These Bombardiers/Canadair might be more capable in general, Im not totally up on the specs.

@gnark1ll When the drop occurs its 5500-6300 liters of water that leave at once, either 5 or 6 tons of alleviation on a weight of 12 tons empty, we can imagine the quick fixes that request.
