interesting, but a simple addition of a date countdown somewhere would have made this MUCH better. No idea of the dates for respective changes = fail.

So it seems to be 5.2 years every second, who can edit this video adding a clock through history?...would be interesting to see the African Continent also especially during the colonizations periods...

Should have shown the years.
Because of the constant fighting between states, Europe developed the world's leading technology, which led to empires.
War's not all bad.

@govett Good example: an expanded highway network (autobahn) for the army to swiftly transport weaponry and personel to the borders.

@govett: "Europe developed the world's leading technology"?! That's new :) Europe was left behind for about millenia, at least, because of all that nonsense.

@focumQuarium > You completely misstated my argument. If you deny Europe's Renaissance and imperial period, you are in need of an emergency history transplant. Stat.

@tejasboy . That's right. We had our share of invasion, coming from perfidious UK or from roaring Goths. But we're still standing on a heap of shit and we sing "cocorico" like a rooster ! Et je t'emmerde !

@CaptainDangeax I only say that because during my visit to France I was treated like shit just for being American. I actually have nothing against the French and Paris was a beautiful city. I just don't appreciate the way I was treated there for no reason other than the fact that I am from the United States...

@tejasboy . No reason ? Didn't you hear about the republican said about us when we decided NOT to go to Irak in 2003 ? Didn't you read the comments here on liveleak about France ? You probably don't know that many Frenchies and I am one of them REFUSE american junk food, refuse american modified seeds, and think Monsato is the biggest thread to mankind ? Didn't you hear the way Boeing made an influence on the pentagon to prevent Airbus entering the military market ? Don't you know that American More..

@CaptainDangeax Do you really think the average American citizen(which I consider myself to be) has ANY control over any of the things you just listed. Because the answer is no and I'm right there with you. I'm sick of our government/military feeling like they need to be the world police. That's not our fucking job. We're no better than any other country. Just don't tell me you're narrow-minded enough to think that every citizen of any country, not just the U.S., agrees with the all of the ideal More..
