The amir of Shatoy Jamaat of the so-called "Caucasus Emirate" (a non-existing state proclaimed by the Chechen jihadists) Bogdan Suleymanov was killed in the course of a special operation by Spetsnaz near the village Musolt-aul.

One of his followers was killed together with him.

2 Russian soldiers were injured.

According to the Russian authorities, Bogdan Suleymanov is responsible for the killing of 7 Russian policemen when a convoy was ambushed in November 2006.
