Was beginning of august in a warm evening when i turned on the TV all the images of people running wild most of them young burning buildings,looting shops and battling the representatives of the law in the streets of London made a impact on my head,yes i`m talking about the summer riots in 2011.

I was watching it unfolding by TV for the last three days and that evening i decided to be part of it,be part of this moment in London history so i grabbed my camera and off i went to Hackney Central at east part of the town.

My heart beating was fast as never before and the feeling of excitement took over me when i stepped up from bethnal green station.I could feel something in the air when i walked towards Hackney Central.

At Mare street just after Hackney road corner further down i met some people walking fast towards me all of them in groups of five or six and you could see they were working people running from something.i crossed the canal and after the curve all i could see and hear was blast of police sirens and masked youths running in pack and destroying everything they could put their hands on and that moment was really a mix of fear and excitement to be there but it did not stopped me to take my camera out and start clicking on frenetically.
After that things started to ease down and get very boring so i decided to leave but not before taking a picture of myself.
In the middle of this mess i notice some guy drawing something and i approached him so my surprise it was a very famous street artist so took a shot of him.

After few pictures i notice some group broke into a cash converter shop and i went there to take some pictures and the police show up and the battle started in front of my eyes and camera
