  • Nice way to complain about your 1st amendment rights not exsisting while USING your 1st Amendment rights.. G20 is about the worst example you can use. Yeah, there are going to be alot of protesters there...along with a crap load of folks who are itching for the opportunity to break shit and riot. Problem isn't the gov't, the problem is the folks breaking shit that is OWNED by someone and the gov't trying to STOP people from breaking shit!!!

My dad used to say "it's all fun and games u More..

    • @gammyland I agree with you very much. Just look at what happened in San Francisco not even a few days ago - "peaceful protestors" ended up smashing up local, mom and pop businesses. That shit is garbage. But for how long will we allow our gov't to take away basic, God given rights (I should be able to protest, peacefully, wherever I want) before we say enough is enough? Why should I stay calm while privately owned riot squads antagonize already charged up Americans and aim their & More..

    • @gammyland My only brother lives in Oakland and has for years. I refuse to label people as left/right since its a tool used to divide us and end discussions, however, .... hes a leftist. : )

There is outrage even in the most socialist of communities in the Bay Area against this sort of thing. I've read countless articles in their local publications about how these "protesters" smashed up record stores, coffee houses, restaurants, and places where people of all stripes lived and fre More..

  • good first Yoursay,.welcome aboard Owl,.
If Obama makes President again,.I think he will put on an all out assult on our Gun rights,.and the same time enforce his New "ONE SIDED" Health Bill down our throats,.making us pay a very large premium,.almost like a house payment,.breaking America's back all the way,.Obama is hell bent on destroying America,.

    • @SharkGuy I was in Grant Park the night that Obama gave his speech to a crowd of hundreds of thousands. Helicopters, news teams from every country on Earth, a truly surreal environment. I remember as we were all leaving after getting lied to for an hour by Barrack Hussain Obama, teenagers were walking in packs saying "MY PRESIDENT IS BLACK, MOTHA FUCKAS" I knew shit had just gotten real.

  • The U.S. is not trying to promote democracy through any support of the Arab Spring uprisings. That is only lip service. The U.S. hopes to increase its influence with various revolutionary groups so that if they win they are less likely to storm American embassies, take Americans hostage, cut off oil supplies, attack Israel, harbor terrorists, or do anything else contrary to the interests of our elected officials. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and always it is cynical.

    • @john1054 Thank you for your comment, really made me think. I still do not see the logic in our foreign policy across the board. I am a young man that feels deeply disillusioned after 8 years of Dubya and 4 of Obama. I sincerely hope we continue to trade and build positive partnerships with all the nations of the world. However, we need to realize there are parts of the world that hate us because of who we are. We do not need to meddle in the affairs of such nations. I live in Chicago wher More..

    • @john1054 Yeah, watching Western Govt's partic Clinton try to stay on the right side of history (the winners) is pretty amusing

Remember the early days in Egypt... for Mubarak, then so-so, then against him Lol

    • @john1054 I must say that sounds terribly interesting and all but you will agree in the past 10 years, such actions have served a derrivatives market and the price of petroleum products has gone through the roof.

    • @peterjames2009 While you eat the Monsanto garbage the corporations in my state, and beautiful states such as Missouri, Tennessee, etc. we will continue to eat the finest of produce and meats, untouched by chemicals. Some of us in this hillbilly, inbred part of the world even grow medicines much better than what you have in your elite center of the universe. : )

  • Good first yoursay.
These revolutions are just a front for the extremists to create an Islamic caliphate in the ME!
    Their biggest obstacle is Israel.
Islamic extremism isnt just a danger to this region,,,,its a danger to the whole world.
