We lost the Daily Show in the UK over a year ago and only receive the 30 min Europe-aimed round-up, which was around the time that News International (Rupert Murdoch's company) was caught out trying to influence the government to control the satellite business here. @Terminator I think Murdoch should be in jail but I don't think any of the other 'news' networks are any better. I heard a lot about the closing down of the "News of the World" being an end of an era and how sad it was that a 168 year old newspaper was closing. I didn't hear one news report mention the fact that under UK Company law, voluntarily closing a solvent company is about the only way you can destroy company financial records which you are otherwise required to keep on file for More..

I think that news reporters should be required to present only the facts and keep their biased opinions, on either side, to themselves. There are far too many examples of news media skewing a story before all of the information has been looked at and causing major damage and discontent in society.
